Out of context, stuff like this is just used to guilt poor people into feeling like they have no right to be angry about suffering and being exploited, because being angry about not being able to afford medicine you need akshually means you’re a spoiled whiner who needs to shut up and be grateful for the few scraps you get, because hey at least you’re not living in a hut with no running water.
